‘SeaQuest’ is yet another high speed, aluminium catamaran design from Paul Birgan and his team. She incorporates fixed foils attached to the mini keels to obtain extra performance. This 23.5 Meter vessel has a top speed of 31 knots and is operating as a passenger/dive vessel on the Great Barrier Reef for Deep Sea Divers Den in Cairns.
Tony Phisick of Deep Sea Divers Den says they are getting 4 knots more than their other vessels and 30% better fuel efficiency to the 2000 model also designed by Paul. He is very happy with the finish and the quality of the fabrication, welding and fit-out of the vessel.
