The sleek “Tusa” design is available for new-build. This “State of the Art” new high speed Scuba Dive Boat has been built twice (“Tusa 5” was built in 2007 and “Tusa 6” was built in 2011) so far and are operating out to the Great Barrier Reef daily.
Powered by twin Detroit Series 60 rated at 499 kw she comfortably cruises at 160 liters per hour (total) with a top loaded speed at just under 25 knots. The design features hydraulic dive platform, dive compressor, fill station, dive banks to accommodate up to 60 divers and dive banks/bottles. Also it’s spacious interior accommodation includes: luxury booth seating at the sides and ferry seating in the middle, large bar and entertainment system aft’ in the lower cabin and forward refrigerated buffet counter for lunch time dinning.
The upper deck features a VIP lounge and sun lounge. This design is also available in a ferry version to carry over 200 passengers in coastal waters. Years of operation have proven the 24 meter sea cat hull with the sea speed mini-keels which provide superior sea keeping vessels in all types of rough sea conditions.
